elements of yesterday’s outfit.
I went to a small town, small minded festival yesterday wearing this. A see-through black lace crop top with my bra showing, bright pink bold print tapered trousers that fit snug on my large belly, and hot pink kicks.
I got a lot of stares because I’m fat. I bared my large and dimpled arm pudge, my back fat rolls, and my VBO. It was kind of empowering to put my body out there and deflect the scrutiny without batting an eyelash.
It was hot as fuck out and I shouldn’t have to cover myself up to please anyone else. Idgaf if my fat body offends you, sorry.
Interestingly, I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been and I’m also the most comfortable with my body now.
I honestly feel that the public world has twisted the words “plus size” to have a negative connotation, where in the modelling world, it does not. Plus size is simply another section, another area of fashion. The same as Catwalk, High Fashion, and so on. Not once have I heard or seen anyone…

When you’re plus a size woman, people like to say “yeah, she’s cute in the face”, as if being full figured is such a disgrace. Honey, I’m cute in the face, and I’m thick in the waist. I look good whether I’m in cotton, leather, or lace. I’m beautiful, vibrant and above all, smart! And there’s more to me than my weight, I also have a heart. Yes my clothes maybe a bigger size, that just means you have access to a bigger prize. We all are not self-conscious about our weight, and we never have a problem getting a date. So don’t think your small frame gives you more pull, I’m a hot, sexy, curvy woman with a figure that’s full. :) Reblog if your a curvy girl and proud to be!!
Love this!!! Beauty is beauty, no matter what size and loving yourself is an amazing feeling! Pass this on! -Emily<3
