While I was in high school, I was very invested in my schools performing arts program. Each year we went to various festivals hosted by the MSVMA and we always did very well and placed with flying colours. Needless to say, we had plenty of talented students, many of which have graduated and gone on to pursue a musical career. The thing is, our school auditorium is awful. The seats are 54 years old and have fallen apart under guests during performances. The budget is also awful and will soon be non existent. So this year, the choir program decided to enter a glee contest to try to win money to renovate the auditorium. If you click this link you can vote for us to win the money!

The video playing is our schools A Cappella Choir. They used a familiar song, then wrote rap lyrics to reflect the dilemmas that the program is facing. If you like it, vote for us! You can hear our choir conductor and school principal rap (which is quite hilarious!!!!)

Thanks so much guys, it really means alot to me. Performing on that stage has created some of the best experiences of my life. Nothing feels more powerful and I really want future generations to be able to feel the same way and have the same chances that I did. The vocal music department of Royal Oak High School deserves a future! So help me give that to them!

Thank you so much everyone! Please reblog this if you support the youth fine arts and help me spread the word for Royal Oak High School!!!!
