I am a firm believer that you can be both happy and confident at any size, in any type body, with any stretch marks, with any ailments. I’m human, I’ve got a love/hate relationship with my body. I have days where I dig it. And I have days where I don’t. You choose to be happy. You choose to be confident. Those two might be lacking in your life. You might not know how to even begin to love yourself. It’s different for every one. But the biggest step that every one makes when doing so, is to choose to do so. You’re swell the way you are. You’re swell if you stay the same or decide to change what you don’t like about yourself. Your beauty is more than the tag on your shirt. Your worth is more than a number on a scale, or words thrown at you from strangers. Beauty is in every thing, and in every body, including yourself. So don’t be afraid to wear something because it shows your belly. Don’t be afraid to do anything you’d like to do just because of your body. There are always going to be people who will stare, who will snicker, who will laugh. Always. No matter what you do. No matter what you wear. Own your body. Love your body. Love your thunder thighs. Love your rolls. Love your double chin. Love yourself. You’re worth that. You’re worth love of any kind. Even if it’s only your own, because your own love for yourself is all that really matters anyways.

The job is to BUST THE FUCKING PARADIGM APART, not shift it a little bit toward the fat side. The job is to remind people, bodies are not public property and your opinion about an individual’s body is only an opinion, not a valid judgment of their worth as a human being. The JOB is to destroy systemic oppression of nonconforming, rebellious bodies no matter what those bodies look like. — (via blck-grrl)

Me in my new swimwear! Size 18/20. The only thing I’m ashamed of, is that I got this suit at Walmart. Ha ha!

Don’t be ashamed of shopping at walmart! Why go to expensive places if you don’t need to/ can’t afford it? I get the majority of my clothes from cheap places! <3

The name’s Bianca. *waves* HI! So, after 21 years of hating myself and trying the most terrible ways to change who I am, I realized that I’m rad just the way I am. Fat. Happy. Beautiful.

It ain’t necessarily so what so many dieters say — that when they lose weight, they’ll gain body confidence. So concludes a new study about the lingering stigma of obesity in the Journal of Health and Social Behavior….
Dear friends,
For better or worse, this is who I am. I will not change to please anyone else. I do not dress the way I do to impress others or beg for attention. I dress for myself. I decorate myself to make myself feel attractive. In a way that I feel is right and beautiful. If I change…
